Mr. Charles Ray Stallworth was born on January 3, 1951, in Monroeville, AL to the late Mr. Albert Stallworth, Sr., and the late Mrs. Stella Mae Richardson Stallworth. He departed this life on Sunday, August 5, 2018, at the Mobile Infirmary Hospital in Mobile, AL.
At an early age Charles was a former member of Daniel Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, held the position of an Assistant Chairman on the Deacon Board, a Sunday School Superintendent, a Trustee on the Board, and a Ward Leader, Ward Leader #1.
He graduated from Union High School in 1969 and later attended Patrick Henry Junior College. He was employed at Alabama River Pulp for almost 30 years.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted wife, Clara Dell Stevens Stallworth; two devoted children, Charranda (Vincent) Lambert of Monroeville, AL; and Christopher Stallworth of Monroeville, AL; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Thomas (Gloria) Watson of Montgomery, AL, Albert Jr. (Mattie) Stallworth of Monroeville, AL, and Charleston (Pamela) Stallworth of Monroeville, AL; sisters, Jacqueline Mobley of Peterman, AL, Brenda Morrissette of Monroeville, AL, and Yolanda (James) Bradley of Peterman, AL, special friend, Liza Timmons of Pensacola, FL; four brothers-in-law, seven sisters-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and friends.
