Grace Stallworth was born September 23, 1950 to the union of the late Comer W. Stallworth and Roxie Bush Stallworth at Old Stage Rd. in Repton, AL. She departed this life on Friday, August 17, 2018 at her home.
She accepted Christ at an early age and was an active member of the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Old Stage Rd in Repton, AL until her passing.
She received her grade school education in Monroeville, AL and her college education at Alabama A & M University in Huntsville, AL. She taught elementary education for many years and worked as a Counselor in the Monroe County School System until her retirement.
She leaves to mourn her ninety-eight year old stepmother, Victoria Stallworth of Monroeville, AL; four sisters: Juanita Belcher of Pensacola, FL, Delores Crosby of Orlando, FL, Patricia Hixon of Frisco City, AL and Mildred Stallworth of Monroeville, AL, four brothers: Charles (Marian) Stallworth of Riverdale, GA., John (Josephine) Stallworth of Birmingham, AL, Joseph (Sadie) Stallworth of Pickens, MS, and Keith (Polly) Stallworth of Monroeville, AL; from an extended family, one adopted brother, Rev. Willie (Millicent) Demps of Pensacola, FL; two step-sister: Deloris (Oscar) Thames, Alice (Rev. O.D.) Culliver and a step-brother, Hartford (Cynthia) Johnson all of Monroeville, AL; a host of nieces and nephews, friends, other relatives, former co-workers, church and community.
