Leona Locke Parker
was born July 8, 1938 to the late Jasper and Elmira Locke in Burnt Corn, Alabama. She was the youngest of 14 siblings. On Saturday, December 17, 2022 while a resident at the Englewood Nursing Home in Monroeville, Alabama, the Lord saw that his child had fallen weak, so he stretched out his hands and gently gathered her up to him. He sent his angel to guide her home as she departed this earthly place.
Mrs. Leona Locke Parker was a member of Bethany Baptist Church of Burnt Corn, Alabama. She was employed and worked as a Sewing Machine Operator at Vanity Fair Mill #2.
Mrs. Leona Locke Parker was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings and her husband: Eugene Parker.
She leaves to cherish her memories of one son: Edward George Rankins of Bermuda, Alabama; adopted son: TyJuan Montgomery of Monroeville, Alabama; a dear friend: Tony Montgomery of Bermuda, Alabama; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
