Ms. Oshie Beasley, a native and resident of Monroeville, Alabama was born on July 28, 1930, to the
union of Eugenia and Enouch Beasley, Sr. She departed this life on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at home
surrounded by her family. Oshie joined the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. She
attended the BIA school in Monroeville until she began to work. Oshie worked for many years as a
childcare provider, housekeeper and homemaker in Monroeville, AL. She was married to the late L.C.
Crumpton, Sr. Oshie was the mother of four children Curtis Beasley, Mary Fuqua, Eloise Beasley, and
Barbara Beasley and two step-children L. C. Crumpton, Jr. and James Crumpton. Oshie enjoyed life and
more than anything enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Eugenia and Enouch Beasley, Sr.; her siblings Walter
Cunningham, Enouch Beasley, Jr, Willie Beasley, James Beasley, Ima Beasley, and Mary Jane Salter; and
two children Eloise Beasley, and Curtis Beasley (Bernice).
She leaves to cherish her memories two children Mary Fuqua and Barbara Beasley both of Monroeville,
AL and two step-children James Crumpton and L.C. Crumpton, Jr. both of Monroeville, AL. Eleven
grandchildren, Wanda Faye (Jeff) Brown, Karlos Beasley, Sr., Marque (Chandra) Fuqua, Ameria Tucker,
Mark Beasley, Darius Beasley and Gabrielle Beasley all of Monroeville, AL; Alvis Beasley of Mobile, AL;
Veronica (Stanley) Triplett of Tuscaloosa, AL; Charletha Fuqua of Livingston, AL and Joshua Beasley of
Pensacola, FL. She also leaves 18 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
